Eric - Tie rod end at steering box (pittman arm?) broke,$80
Tim - Ordered new radiator & water pump for XJ. Not only that, he just bought another XJ, '92 with D60 axles(!), and worked on 2(or 3?) other friend's XJs, welding & re-gearing 3 front axles...Tim definitely earns the 'golden wrench' award this month!
Aaron - To Toyota guys--needs a set of front shackles.
Gary (the other Gary) : Has rear Warn bumper & 5-1/2" Rubicon Express springs available for TJs to sell .
Don - Had to drop $300 on a speed sensor, dealer only item.

RECENT RUNS

JULY 10-11 – Eastern Sierras/Bodie/Lee Vining Area - Paul E and Ron joined up in Lee Vining to run new & familiar trails, with some great scenery.
JULY 31-Aug 1– BBQ Run Niagara Rim Trail - Almost 20 of us went up Hwy 108 to camp 2 or 3 nights at the OHV campground. Those who arrived Thursday pre-ran the trail Friday, while everyone ran the trail Saturday. We got through 'almost' unscathed. A group of buggies had taken over the rockpile area, but they let us in for a try. A scrumptious BBQ followed and then a gift raffle. A few of us went over Sonora Pass on Sunday to check out Leavitt Lake.

Not much to add here from the meeting, but (hint) you will need to ask Don & Terry about 'almost unscathed' thing. We had the final raffle giveaway, and Tom got the bungee cords, Gary the WD-40.

AUG 6,7,8 - Brian ran the Rubicon, along with a JK club. Brian warns that law enforcement is "out in force" on the Rubicon these days, and users need to be the perfect citizen on the trail now. Trial has some beat-up spots, needing extra care & spotting, ie. Big Sluice & Cadillac Hill. He's ready for Terry's run for sure now! For some reason JK did not start one time.
